Like most of us, I think 2020 has been a dumpster fire for all the obvious reasons. But if you know me, you also know I believe that when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. While I may or may not have been tempted to spike that lemonade, Sabal Group has made it our mission to find the silver lining in what has been a very big, very dark thundercloud of a year.

Throughout this past year, I’ve been writing about pivoting. Pivoting has enabled us to continue our forward momentum by making course changes. A sidestep here, a bit of a direction change there, and sooner, or later, we reach our goal. But our team has done more than just talk about pivoting. As our senior living clients reduced their ad budgets to cope with the unexpected, we had the gift of time to take a deeper look at what we’re doing. The result? You’re experiencing it now!

A New Design

This past year has given us time for reflection. We realized we had made it through the growing pains of being a new business. The initial flurry of establishing who we are has passed as we’ve grown into our identity as a major data partner for our valued clients. Getting to this point is the result of working with clients who share our values and beliefs. We recognize how lucky we are to have loyal clients who are willing to trust us to help them achieve their goals. That’s no small thing in the midst of a pandemic! That realization led us to reconsider how we present ourselves in the digital world. What worked for the launch of our company is no longer enough for the future. And that led to the decision to redesign the website.

The first thing you might notice is the increased number of pages dedicated to the individual services we offer that support our omnichannel marketing approach. While you may know us as your go-to partner for data, did you know we also can assist you with GeoFencing, keyword listening, and website visitor tracing?

Our data library is a resource of helpful information about specific services and background on what we offer and who we are. We intend to continue to build this digital library, so we hope you’ll bookmark it and return often.

A Fresh Logo

Completing our fresh redesign is the unveiling of a new logo for Sabal Group. While we’ll always have a fond place in our heart for the Palmetto-topped letter S, our identity has expanded from a coastal reference to one that embraces all the Carolinas have to offer. We believe the new design better reflects who we are and our approach to data. Sabal Group logo

We hope you’ll take the time to explore this new website. We’re proud of the work our designer and developer have done. We’re pleased with the outcome and the fresh content. We hope you’ll like it as much as we do. In case you find something that doesn’t work for you, or something missing, we hope you’ll reach out to us so we can fix it or add it.

Deciding to redesign a website, commissioning new content, and redoing a brand’s logo aren’t easy decisions. Each is an individual pivot. Each carries the risk of ending up with something less than; less than what you had before. Less than what you expected. Less than what you wanted. But everything we do in life carries risk. We chose to take that step, take the risk, and accept the challenge. That’s something we’ve learned from COVID-19 and the challenges of 2020. In the long run, we believe it’s always better to take that next step, even when it’s a pivot, because the effort is always worth it in the long run.

We’re excited to see what 2021 has to bring us. We’re excited to see how we can help our treasured clients achieve their goals. We’re hopeful we’ll meet new clients who offer fresh challenges for us. And, whether you are a current or future client, or if you’re just a friend, we hope 2021 brings you new opportunities too.
